He was a resident of Bayview Nursing Pavilion in Clearwater, FL. Mr. Brownlee was the last of 16 children, born to John Thomas Brownlee and Nancy Eva Kennerly Browniee of Grayson, GA.

As a young man he worked in Detoit, MI at the Ford Motor Co. and later at the Model Laundry in Atlanta, GA. In later years he owned and operated Beacon Laundry Cleaners in Buckhead, GA. He had been a member of the Clarkston Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Grayson, GA.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ethel Louise Stell Browniee. Several years after the death of this wife, he moved to Clearwater, FL to live with his daughter, Nancy Smith. He is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Bobbie B. and Robert J. (Bo) Davis, Lilburn, GA, Nancy B.

Surviving are his wife Renee Byko, his children, Susan Jackson, Maryellen Kenny, and Robert M. Byko grandchildren, Lindsey and Eric Kenny, and Britt Ellyn Jackson, all residing in Atlanta; and his brother Gerald P. Byko of Danville, Calif. A New Jersey native and World War Navy veteran, Mr. Byko moved to Atlanta in 1981.

She is survived by 4 children, Cornelia (Cooie) Orr of Atlanta, Janet Cameron of Carlsbad, CA, James Cameron, San Diego, CA and Ruth Gordon, Windemere British Columbia; in addition Mrs. Cameron is survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great -grandchildren. Born in 1894 to Jefferson and Cornelia Dunwody, Cornelia was one of 5 children. The town of Dunwoody was named after her father's family, although the postal system insisted on adding an to their last name to make it look more proper. Cornelia's grandfather was John Dunwody, whose cousin was Mittie Bulloch (of Bulloch Hall).

Mittie's son was Teddy Roosevelt. Cornelia grew up in Kirkwood, GA (now Decatur), where her father served as mayor. She attended Agnes Scott College. In 1918, Cornelia married James Lowe Cameron. In addition to raising her 5 children, Cornelia loved to sew and was an expert seamtress.

She was active in the church and community teaching sunday school on Sunday and working on behalf of the American Cancer Society and the Republican Party during the week. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16 at 2 p.m. at North Avenue Presbyterian Church, 607 Peachtree St. Interment, Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
